In 1991 March, The Evangelisation team from Punalur bethel bible college, Home Missionary Council (HMC) under the leadership of Pr. Varghese Mathew started the missionary work in Pala. Pr. Augustin Joseph, Pr. N.J Sadrak, Pr. Biju were also in the team. The team lodged near KSRTC STAND, Pala and the missionary work continued.
After one month two pastors in the team went to North India for missionary works. Pr. Augustin Joseph stayed one more month along with Pr. Varghese Mathew in Pala. Later, He also went back to his native place. Pr. Varghese Mathew stayed back in Pala and continued the missionary work by residing near Government Hospital, Pala.
The team went through many struggles like shifting rented apartments (four times), financial problems and persecutions. The team visited families in the Pala municipal area and shared the gospel.
The Pastor got a new accommodation in a rented-apartment near Murikkampuzha Temple. Many people and families started coming for prayer. Regular Sunday service and Sunday School started. Assemblies of God Malayalam District Council (AGMDC) recognised us as a church.
Many youth accepted Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord, received healing, baptised and filled in Holy Spirit.
1994 January the church service shifted to an another rented apartment near Lalam Church. The church gone through many persecutions during this time but the Lord helped to overcome all the trials and tribulations.
Public Meetings:
- Three days Bible Convention near Nelliyani.
- Open air meeting in Ramapuram Town under the leadership of Pr Issac V Mathew.
- Hospital visit in Ossana Mount Bharananganam with cooperation of Dr. Felix John.
Many believers surrendered their life to the Lord and went as missionaries. God filled His promises for the church.
In 1995 May 8th, Pr. Varghese Mathew got transfer to AG Church Angamaly. From 1995, Pr. Xavier Mathew took charge as the new pastor in AG Church Pala. The church service again shifted to a rented hall near Kurishuppally Junction. The Fasting prayer continued at the rented parsonage near Puthenpallykkunnu. CA and Sunday School students actively participated in the Section Talent Tests organised by the Kottayam Section.
In 2002 May, Pr. Binu V. S and family came to Pala. The missionary work continued by taking a rented apartment near NCC office Pala. The church service shifted to a rented hall near Lalam bridge and fasting prayer in parsonage.

Regular Sunday service, CA meetings, Sunday School, Cottage meetings, Fasting prayers were actively held under the leadership of Pr. Binu V S.
CA and Sunday School students actively participated in the Section Talent Tests organised by the Kanjirappally Section. The Church Service shifted to Mariyan Residency near General Hospital Pala in 2008. In 2008 May, Pr. Reji Varghese took charge as the new pastor of AG Church Pala. During this time, many Brilliant students and college students started coming to the church. Regular Sunday services and Fasting prayer continued. God promised the church that he will give us a new church hall & parsonage for AG Church Pala and the church vigilantly started praying for the same. Sunday school, CA meetings, WMC meetings, Mens meetings, all night prayer meetings, chain prayers, baptism services and cottage meetings were actively held under the leadership of Pr. Reji Varghese. CA and Sunday School students actively participated in the Section Talent Tests organised by the Kanjirappally Section.

- Open air meetings in Pala Town, Pravithanam and Ramapuram Town.
In 2014 May he got transfer and Pr. M S Mathew took charge as the new pastor of AG Church Pala. Church services and fasting prayer continued. Chain prayers and special prayer meetings for church building were organised under the leadership of Pr. M S Mathew. In 24th September 2014, the church bought a new land near Kottaramattom and parsonage building started under the leadership of Pr. M S Mathew. From 2018 March, Pr. M S Mathew and family started living in the newly built parsonage. Our God full filled His promises for the church and answered the prayer of the church.
The new church hall was inaugurated by Rev. Dr. P S Philip (Superindentant, AGMDC) in December 2018. The first church service started in 23rd December 2018. The leadership and hardwork of Pr. M S Mathew and family will always be remembered by the Pala AG church.

- Computerised bible and song presentation.
- Blessed church choir and orchestra leads worship.
CA and Sunday School students actively participated in the Section Talent Tests organised by the Kanjirappally Section and won second prize. CA and Sunday school meetings were actively held.
In May 2023, Pr. M S Mathew got transfer and Pr. K P Cherian took charge as the new pastor of AG Church Pala.
